Dear Aspiring Orthopedic Surgeon
So you have made the decision to go into Orthopedic surgery? Congratulations. That is one of the most difficult decisions that you will make. In my opinion, it’s the best decision you will make. I can truly say that I love what I do. Being an Orthopedic surgeon is a dream come true. It is a long journey and takes a lot of work but worth it in the end. Whether you make this decision in the first two years of medical school, the last year of medical school or even if you knew this before you entered medical school unless you have a family member that is an orthopedics surgeon, you will never be prepared for the next 5-7 years as you go through residency and fellowship then onto practice. This is where this course comes in.
